Who We Are

At Maple Zen, we believe that who we are shapes what we make, so we wanted to tell you a bit more about the Maple Zen team and the family values upon which the company was founded.

Maple Zen is based in Canada, and all of beds are handmade here with pride.  We use locally-sourced materials whenever possible, and use environmentally-friendly techniques to produce the highest-quality modern furniture in our community, for our community.  We foster sustainable, ethical practices, and create products that are designed for life.

Honouring Multiculturalism

Maple Zen is a family business, founded by hardworking immigrants and their children whose families are from a multitude of countries including Cambodia, Poland, China, and Italy.   Maple Zen takes pride in our multicultural roots and affirms, honours, respects, and celebrates diversity in ability, ethnicity, gender, indigenous background, nationality, politics, race, religion and sexuality.  We are devoted to striving for collective growth as an ongoing process and believe that embracing our differences will help strengthen our community here in Canada and in the world beyond.
